Real Tamale United forward Rahim Akanta has been named Man of the Match following his outstanding performance in RTUs 4-1 victory over Debibi United in the 2026 X1 Energy Drink DOL Super Cup.Akanta was a constant threat to the Debibi United defence throughout the encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, scoring twice to help RTU secure a convincing victory and recover from their opening-day defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs.The forward completed his brace from the penalty spot in the 81st minute after Abdul Rahim Lamale and Emmanuel Owusu had put RTU two goals ahead.Akanta has now scored three goals in the competition. He found the net once in RTUs 4-1 defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs in their opening Group A fixture before adding two more against Debibi United.His latest goals have taken him to the top of the X1 DOL Super Cup scoring chart.The victory moved RTU onto three points in Group A and kept their hopes of reaching the semifinals alive.
